Privacy and security

A range of security controls protect the privacy and security of your general practices information contained in VCF Connect. This includes:

  • access being available only to approved vaccination providers with a Provider Digital Access (PRODA) account
  • multifactor authentication via PRODA to prevent unauthorised access
  • audit logs that can be accessed to show a history of all account activity
  • all data is encrypted and securely transmitted to the VCF
  • your information being managed by the Australian Digital Health Agency in line with Australian privacy legislation.
