What can I do to help manage my COVID-19 at home?

Each day, you should record your symptoms using the My daily symptom diary.

You should watch out for worsening symptoms and follow your My COVID-19 action plan.

Try to get plenty of rest, drink lots of water and eat well. You can still do moderate exercise if you feel well enough (within your home and/or garden).

Paracetamol or ibuprofen could be used for symptom relief if you have taken these before and have had no problems. Avoid ibuprofen if you are pregnant. Oral rehydration solution can be used if you have bad nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.

If you have other ongoing medical needs that are impacted by your COVID-19 diagnosis you should check-in with your regular healthcare provider.
